stealthPhase VPN privacy policy

Effective November 2, 2026 · applies to the stealthPhase VPN app for Android and the service behind it.

In short: we never log what you do online. We keep only what it takes to run your membership: who you are (from Google sign-in), the phones you add, and how much data each phone used this month.

What we keep

DataWhyHow long
Your Google account ID, email address and name, from Sign in with GoogleTo know who you are, so an invite can't be passed on and access can be removed when neededWhile your account exists
Each phone's name (the one you type), its public VPN key and its private tunnel addressTo let that phone connect, and to remove one phone without affecting the othersUntil you or we remove the phone
The time each phone last connected, and its total data per monthTo show a phone is working, apply data limits and plan server capacityUp to 13 months
Invite codes (stored only as a one-way hash), who made each one and who used itTo make every invite single-useWhile your account exists

What we never keep

On your phone

Your VPN's private key and settings stay in the app's private storage and are excluded from cloud backups. Older invite links carried a key inside the link; those are being retired, and new phones create their own key that never leaves the phone.

Lookups and filtering

Your DNS lookups travel inside the VPN to the resolver your Filtering choice uses: the server's own, Quad9, Cloudflare or AdGuard. That resolver's own privacy policy covers the lookup. If you set Android's Private DNS, it is used instead.

Who handles data for us

We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Children

stealthPhase VPN is not meant for anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. Material changes are also announced in the app.
